The Central Islip LIRR Station is located at Suffolk Avenue & Lowell Avenue in Central Islip, NY.  It was moved East from its previous location at Suffolk Ave. & Carleton Ave. in November, 1987.  The former Central Islip State Hospital Station was accessed by a spur through the Eastern end of the current station's parking lot along Lowell Ave.; another branch off this spur served the former Waldbaum's Warehouse on Lowell Avenue just south of the current right-of-way.
